Ib Hartmann Berggreen is former Chief of Design at LEGO Toy Company and from Copenhagen, Denmark. For the last 20 plus years. Today Ib work full time on making pipes. Hailing from the north Ib is inspired by the classic and new Nordic design. His pipes represent the simplistic, clean and aesthetic Nordic design, but he also experiment and try to push the boundaries with new forms and shapes to make the pipes his own.
In his time as a pipe maker he has been, and still is, in close contact with Danish pipe legends Tom Eltang and the guys behind S. Bang. Being in close contact with such legends and combining that with his many years of design experience has given me the skills to become a pipe maker.
The Danish pipe shop is proud to say they were one of the very first pipe shops in the world to carry tobacco pipes from Berggreen pipes.
